B\u00e9laye is celebrating thirty-six years of cello and chamber music concerts. 36 wonderful years of welcoming the finest French and international musicians to this small medieval village perched above the Lot valley. Their presence has made the B\u00e9laye concerts an unmissable event for the French School of Violoncello, and an international showcase for chamber music.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The renown of Les Rencontres de B\u00e9laye owes a huge debt to the artistic force of Roland Pidoux, to the magic of his programming and the respect and admiration he engenders among both musicians and public.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The team of volunteers who work so tirelessly each year, our partners, both public and private who sponsor us, all play an essential part. However, without the support of our members, Les Rencontres would not exist \u2013 they really are our backbone. We do have need of this loyal commitment to ensure our continuity.
